Our weekly meetings consist of a screening of an arthouse film, followed by a discussion. The discussion is led by one of our members, or sometimes a guest speaker, and encourages members to share their thoughts and interpretations of the film.
Le Pont du Nord (1981)
“It only takes two facing mirrors to build a labyrinth.”
A whimsically gamified thriller by Rivette with two women following the fate of a briefcase, running around in Paris. Every new turn leads to another, and every new clue leads them to the next. The city, the women’s lives, the fate of the briefcase all hangs in a limbo till the end.
