Nosferatu (1922) with The Parallel Cinema Club

A special screening of F.W. Murnau’s Nosferatu, a vampire masterpiece that showed the world how artistic horror could be. 2024 saw the release of a remake of this classic movie.

F.W. Murnau 's original is seen as a horror classic, but I was apprehensive to watch it due to it being over 100 years old . I just wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to relate to Nosferatu, and thus, not be moved by the story or terrified by the titular villain. However, my worries couldn’t have been more misguided, because even after a century, I can confirm that Nosferatu is still terrifying and definitely not for the faint-hearted.
